Home Buyer Tip #2

Home Buyer Tip #2
The Five W’s and the Two H’s are important questions you want to consider and answer before you decide to buy a home!
Who, What, Why, When, Where? These are important questions to consider, and answer, as a part of the due diligence you should do when thinking about buying a home. This due diligence will cover the basics, and help you better understand your situation and the context of the home purchase transaction you are about to pursue and experience.
How and How Much? As a home buyer eager to achieve your desired real estate objective(s), a lot of thought needs to be given to how you will go about the home purchase transaction and how much your home purchase might cost.
Consider and answer the right questions. It is easy to fall into the trap of considering and addressing the wrong issues.
Think broadly about the home buying experience. Once you have targeted the right questions, think a bit more laterally and see what other questions should be answered too. The level of detail will vary, but you want to be as comprehensive as your time, budget, and situation allow.
Look for the add-on work. Chances are very good that while considering and answering these questions, you will unearth other issues that have questions that will also need to be considered and answered.
The Home Buying Process is complex, with lots of steps, interactions, and negotiations, and presents opportunities and challenges along the way. Even for the most experienced buyer with a well thought out plan, the Home Buying Process can be stressful.
